When this magazine came out, I was in high school waiting to get my hair cut at a local salon, and I grabbed this magazine from the rack. Up until I came across the featured article, I was aimlessly flipping through the magazine to pass the time. But then, I saw this:

Great post, Meggie. Annie Leboitz is amazing. It's worth renting the recent movie about her. If your a fashion photography hound like me, you might also try Bill Cunningham New York. His work is not at all like Annie Leboitz; not by a long shot. He's a fascinating character, though, with a artist's eye for fashion & fashion trends. Anyway, I get the same kick today as I did when I was in my late teens when I discovered fashion. That was a very, very long time ago. lol.
