Fashion Week!

As some of you may know, next week is the insanely awesome, ever-popular, seriously swanky, super fun, and just plain freaking crazy FASHION WEEK!

Here's an abbreviated line-up of the goings on here at 2 Chic and Rochester in next week:

Thursday, September 27th
Boutique Crawl!!

5pm to 10pm
Buy Tickets at Wegmans for $20

See all details such as where the limo will pick you up, and what boutiques will be participating on the Fashion Week website: and then click "Events" in the upper, then click "Boutique Crawl".

Each participating Boutique will be serving wine and hors d' oeuvres AND there will be an after-party at Benedettos! And now, here's the nitty-gritty specifics on what we'll be up to that night:

The Broutique Crawl at 2 Chic Boutique:

Brace yourselves. What we are about to tell you is some pretty exciting news.
When you walk into 2 Chic Boutique on Thursday night, you will be welcomed not just with a glass of wine from Casa Larga and a crepe from Simply Crepes, but also by a visual display of one-of-a-kind, hand-painted, art-to-wear boots designed by local artists! And, if you choose to do so, you can bid on one to all ten and possibly win! Each hand-painted boot will be one-of-a-kind, and 100% of the proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to the Center for Youth.

After our models walk down the catwalk in them, we will come back to the shop and determine the winner of each pair of boots.

Cool, right?!

Here's the line up of the participating artists and small examples of their work:

Noma Bliss

Chaz Davis

Sean Dunwoody

(no photos available)

Mark Groaning

Judy Gohringer

And, possibly a few others!

And then,
Saturday, September 29th
Fashion Show!

We will be participating in the "Height of Fashion Event"
that will be held at the Memorial Art Gallery.

Doors open at 6pm
Show starts at 8pm and goes until about 9pm.

Our models will not only be wearing our locally hand-painted boots, but they will also be all decked out in

And it's going to be a blast!!

More photos of the boots to follow!
